What's that, you ask? Did I read correctly? Yes, Mojo had to walk out of a movie this weekend. Not in any sort of Dramatic Protest, for such things involve effort and theater seating is comfortable enough that it would take something along the lines of a fire or a cattle prod to get Mojo to relinquish her ten-dollar seat. No, similar to the last time I walked out on a movie, nearly twenty years ago, this was due to Other People. Namely, my Favorite Husband, when dinner at the Italian chain across the street from the theater complex did not agree with him and he decided in his wimpy husband-like way that for some reason he didn't want to start barfing his brains out in public, since it would entail a great deal of kneeling in a public bathroom. Today is my Favorite Father's birthday. Happy Birthday, Favorite Father, from your Favorite Daughter. (Sorry, Favorite Sisters, both Younger and Older, but you know it's true...)

Anyway, I recently posted another comment to just show how incredibly dull my life is. Others boast of life-saving vaccines or food production or charitable gifts; Mojo boasts about the scores she gets playing various forms of computer solitaire. The latest (and now the dullest) is a simple game called "Bubble Pop", a Mac-based thing that I have since grown tired of. Just like "Asteroids" in the Seventies--once you flip the game over it's pretty dull. Mojo does not know or remember or particularly care if her Favorite Mother's Owl Collection was something her mother actually wanted to collect, or if it was intially or subsequently foisted upon her by a large family desperate for ideas for holiday gifts to give her. All she knows is, now her Favorite Mother no longer wants or needs or desires her Owl Collection. So Mojo's Favorite Mother cunningly foisted these things on her Forgotten Middle Daughter, in a pretense of supporting the Craptacular, but we all know the reality is, it saved her a trip to the dump. And now these things are cluttering Mojo's house instead of her own, heh heh heh. Now you see where Mojo gets her cunning, cleverly wrapped as it is in a verbose folly of ineptitude and greed. And you can also see, perhaps, that Mojo is no match for her senior when it comes to wheedling manipulation and distraction techniques while foisting crap upon a gullible subject.  MORE Mojo! »
