...it's gonna be a bad buncha reviews when The Tale of Despereaux is uppermost on Mojo's mind as best of the bunch. It was okay. Surprisingly stellar cast, I must admit. I've never read the book (shame, eternal shame on Mojo!) but it's an award-winner and I SHOULD read it. Mental note: get it from the lieberry and read it while the patrons are browsing. While Mojo is very cunning at hiding this simple fact, she can and does have very strong opinions on a variety of topics. She is magnanious in her ability to listen to others and hear all sides, but it would take something extraordinary to sway her opinion once it is fully formed.

Yet she listens. And to be honest, sometimes there are people with opposing viewpoints who are so articulate and thoughtful Mojo likes them despite their views. She respects and admires them. She likes to hear them talk, and thinks about the things they say. There are also those who are idiots, regardless of their views. They are not articulate. Their thinking is nonexistent. They are just spouting the party line, or what they read about once in PEOPLE magazine and now swear it is true. They are NOT fun to listen to. They are tiresome.  MORE Mojo! »
