Just a few entries ago, I lamented my not reading the book of The Tale of Despereaux while mentioning seeing the animated movie. I am happy to announce that this particular defect of character has now been banished, and the book is indeed a charming, witty sort of read, much different than the movie, both in plot and in enjoyability. And it no doubt somewhat prepared me for last night, just when I was heading to beddy-bye. Only to have Ratty come in through the dog door, carrying something. MORE Mojo! » |
