So today is my Favorite Father's birthday. I would wish him a happy birthday, except right now he and my favorite Mother are wending their way down somewhere to Florida for a couple of weeks--down to Sanibel or something. I think that's what they said. We met them for breakfast yesterday, and I think they said they were driving down to Sanibel, but to be honest there was food on the table so Mojo was distracted and might not have listened as closely as she could. Okay, in the spirit of full disclosure, Mojo was never a huge fan of the movie version of The da Vinci Code. Probably because a) she was never that HUGE a fan of the book, and b) she has a Certain Cruel Prejudice Against Suckitude. I seem to recall calling the movie version something like "the dullest thriller I have ever seen". Unlike the book, which, not very good as it is, nonetheless hooks you on the first page as they teach you in Writing Genre Novels 101.  MORE Mojo! »

Monday afternoon after my bitter whining (and no, I didn't end up seeing a sad movie; instead I watched cartoons--welcome to the roller coaster of Mojo's sorry existence) I was driving around and I *DID* see two whole robins. Not together, but singletons. It did not necessarily raise my spirits, but it did give Mojo hope for the future.  MORE Mojo! »
