My theory here

Yesterday a fox spent the better part of the morning napping in the backyard. I was printing out a big job for an editor and kept squinting out the window trying to figure out what was under the trees. S/he was the same color as the pine needles, but something didn't look right. Finally I got the binocs, then the DV camera. Here's a picture:

My sister sent me one of those series of pictures you often find circulating the internet. I won't reproduce any here, both 'cuz of copyright and also in a feeble attempt to stop encouraging people to repeat such stupid, stupid behavior.

Jayne wrote me today to tell me that one of the Woodside culprits, Ursula, died, apparently some time in 2003.

Heh. One down, one to go.

It's very hard to type right now, 'cuz my right thumb is bandaged and I'm still on the woozy side. But despite my best intentions I can no longer do WORK, so I figure blogging is the next best way to waste time.

...She goes and blows $40 at Costco to get the Star Wars DVD boxed set!

Of course everyone in the special features is talking about the primal significance of myth and Joseph Campbell and blah blah blah to explain its popularity. But I for one will never forget seeing it for the first time in State College....
